海南大学国际商学院成立于2023年6月18日,前身为原海南大学管理学院和经济学院,起源为1980年开设农林经济管理干部培训班。
学院坚持“学科立院、人才强院、开放兴院、制度治院”的办学方略,以“贡献经管智慧,培养高素质人才,服务自贸港建设”为使命,以工商管理一级学科博士点建设为龙头,着力促进多管理学科交叉融合发展,遵循“本硕博”一体化办学理念,致力成为区域内一流商学院。
学院现有教职工227人,其中专任教师189人,副高级职称以上133人,拥有省部级及以上人才称号的教师172人,包括国家百千万工程人选、财政部会计名家、全国会计领军人才等国家级高层次人才、海南省杰出人才、海南省领军人才等。由学院教师组成的科研创新团队已形成一定的影响力,多个团队多名成员在相关学术机构担任职务,促进了良好的学术交流,部分教授已成为政府部门相关领域专家,为地方经济社会的发展贡献智慧和力量。
学院目前拥有工商管理一级学科博士学位授权点及博士后科研流动站,工商管理、农林经济管理、管理科学与工程和应用经济学等4个一级学科硕士学位授权点。工商管理作为海南省唯一的经济管理类博士点,系海南省特色重点学科,在教育部第五轮学科被评估为B级。在软科中国最好学科排名中,工商管理学科从2024年进入前10%。应用经济学学科在2023年软科中国最好学科排名中由100位提升至82位,取得了快速进步。学院拥有工商管理硕士(MBA)、会计硕士(MPAcc)、农业硕士(农村发展和农业管理方向)、金融硕士(MF)和国际商务硕士(MIB)共5个专业学位硕士授权点。工商管理、会计学、农林经济管理、物流管理、金融学、国际经济与贸易等6个本科专业均为国家级一流本科专业建设点。此外还设有商务经济学1个国际留学生本科专业。工商管理、会计学、物流管理、国际经济与贸易在软科中国大学2023年专业排名中专业评级为A,专业发展迅速。
学院已逐步形成了“本硕博一体化”培养体系,目前拥有全日制现有在校本科生2853人(留学生31人),研究生1528人(留学生93人),其中博士研究169人(留学生51人)。
学院立足海南,贡献经管智慧,目前拥有会计中外人文交流研究院、海南省公司治理研究院、海南省开放型经济研究院、中国(海南)竞争政策研究中心、海南省创新创业研究院、自贸港反洗钱教育基地、海南省期货人才培养基地等研究基地。
School Introduction
The International Business School (IBS) of Hainan University was founded on June 18, 2023, formerly known as Management School and School of Economics of Hainan University, which originated from the Training Program for Cadres in Agricultural and Forestry Economic Management established in 1980.
The IBS adheres to the strategy as "establishing the school with disciplines, strengthening the school with talents, revitalizing the school with openness, and governing the school with rules" and the mission of "contributing management and economics wisdom, cultivating high-quality talents and serving the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port". Taking construction of the Ph.D program in business administration as the key task in recent years, the school prioritizes the development of multi-disciplines, follows the principle of "integrating undergraduate, graduate and doctoral education programs" and strives to become a first-class international business school in the region.
At present, the IBS has 227 members, among them 189 are full-time faculty members, 133 with deputy senior titles or above and 172 with provincial and ministerial-level or above talent titles. The school’s research and innovation teams have already showed a lot of influence, some faculty members have held positions in academic institutions, and some professors have done consulting work with government and industry. The school has made an endeavor to serve the development of the region.
The IBS currently has a Ph.D program and a Postdoctoral Research Center in the study of business administration, as well as master degree programs in science in the area of business administration, agricultural and forestry economic management, management science and engineering and applied economics. Among all the disciplines, business administration was evaluated as Grade B in the fifth round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education and ranked 36th in 2023 by Shanghai Ranking. The IBS also has five professional master degree programs such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Accounting (MPAcc), Master of Agriculture (Rural Development and Agricultural Management), Master of Finance (MF) and Master of International Business (MIB). There are six national-level first-class undergraduate majors including business administration, accounting, agricultural and forestry economic management, logistics management, finance, international economics and trade, as well as one international undergraduate major of business economics.
The IBS has gradually formed a "bachelor-master-doctoral integrated" education system and has 2,853 full-time undergraduate students (including 31 international students), 1,528 graduate students (including 93 international students) and 169 doctoral students (including 51 international students).
IBS is based in Hainan and wishes to partner with the development of Hainan Free Trade Port. So far, the school has established several research centers and think tanks such as the Institute of Accounting and Humanities Exchange, the Hainan Institute of Corporate Governance, the Hainan Institute of Open Economy, the China (Hainan) Competition Policy Research Center, the Hainan Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Free Trade Port Anti-money Laundering Education Base and the Hainan Futures Talent Training Base.
